Livestream: Optimizing NF1 Tumor Management Across the Lifespan Integrating Pain and Quality-of-Life Assessment into MEK Inhibitor and Surgical Decision-Making

In this CE Concepts livestream symposium, expert faculty will incorporate patient-reported pain and quality-of-life data into treatment decision-making for patients with NF1-associated plexiform neurofibromas. Learners will be shown how to assess evidence‑based strategies for integrating MEK inhibitor therapy with surgery in the multidisciplinary management of patients with NF1‑PNs. Faculty will discuss structured, evidence-based strategies to anticipate, monitor, and manage MEK inhibitor-related toxicities in patients with NF1-PNs while maintaining dose intensity and minimizing treatment discontinuation across pediatric and adult care settings.

Livestream: Finding the Right Rhythm: Supporting Pediatric Oncology Nurses in Longitudinal NF1 Management

In this CE Concepts livestream symposium, faculty will apply NF1 diagnostic and oncologic monitoring guidelines to support early recognition of NF1-PNs in pediatric patients. Learners will be shown how to incorporate MEK inhibitors in the management of NF1-PNs in pediatric patients within care pathways that extend into adult-focused settings through evidence-based monitoring and safety support. Faculty will model the application of interprofessional care coordination and continuity planning strategies in clinical practice to support consistent management of patients with NF1 across pediatric and adult care settings.
