RuthAnn graduated from College of Mount Saint Vincent with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and earned her Master of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program from Pace University. After beginning her career in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology unit at Mount Sinai and later at Columbia-Presbyterian in Bone Marrow Transplant, she joined MSK in 2003. She began as a clinical nurse in radiology and in 2005 became a clinical research nurse in the Pediatric Phase I unit. In 2006 she joined the Melanoma/Sarcoma service as a clinical research nurse, helped developed the Immunotherapeutic Core service in 2011 and was promoted to clinical research nurse coordinator in 2015 after receiving her NP license. RuthAnn has been involved in many publications in immunotherapeutics and clinical research nursing. She is chair of the education council for LGBT Employee Resource Network and has served as a member of the Peer Review Task Force since 2014 and Outpatient Practice Council since 2013.
