This initiative is targeted to community-based gynecologic oncologists, medical oncologists, NPs/PAs, and related professionals who actively manage ovarian cancer. Attendees will gain an appreciation of the genes involved in DNA damage response (DDR) pathways and their role in tumorigenesis, including the use of poly-ADP ribose polymerase (PARP) inhibitors, and the most recent updates in genetic testing and counseling guidelines. To ensure that the current educational gaps of the gyn-onc audience are being addressed, one expert faculty will discuss top questions and patient cases submitted by attendees of previous live activities and through surveys to help integrate practical application of PARP inhibitors in practice.
