Tina L. Trieu, PharmD received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics degree from the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food & Environment and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 2019. As a student, she received first place alongside her team in the University of Kentucky Global Health Case Competition in 2017 and represented the University of Kentucky at Emory University’s 2017 International Case Competition. She was also involved in the Student National Pharmacist Association (SNPhA), helping to organize volunteering events to serve the underserved population within Lexington, Kentucky.
She has a background in direct patient care where she specialized in medication therapy management, large community immunization events, and integration of community health education and harm reduction within community pharmacy practice. Dr. Trieu has greatest interest in early career development and education of physician-scientists alongside designing education initiatives in healthcare disparities. Her focus within early career development and education is within cardiovascular, immuno-oncologic, cancer-specific research and neurology residents.
