Lisa Arvine, RN, MSN, ANP-BC, WHNP-BC is a Nurse Practitioner at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where she has been practicing Gynecologic Oncology for six years. After graduating Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Colorado in Psychology, she went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, graduating with Sigma Theta Tau honors. Ms. Arvine then received her Master's of Science in Nursing at MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA, graduating with Sigma Theta Tau honors.

After graduation, Ms. Arvine pursued her passion in Women's Heath at Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts where she had the opportunity to do routine family planning, manage gynecologic and early obstetric cases, and perform cancer screening. After several years, she had the opportunity to transition to Gynecologic Oncology at Dana-Farber. This has given Ms. Arvine the opportunity to diagnose, treat and manage women of all ages with gynecological malignancies. This includes patient and family education, performing procedures such as biopsies, and managing therapeutic regimens. As a result of her expertise, Ms. Arvine has been asked to lecture at Oncology Grand Rounds at ONS as well as to participate in the Susan S. Smith Center for Women's Cancer community outreach program where she spoke about women's cancer screening. She was also mentioned in the Boston Globe newspaper by two patients who nominated her for "Boston's Favorite Nurses."
